DevOps Engineering course

Modern infrastructure automation, continuous integration, and cloud deployment pipelines.

Overview

Master the core disciplines of modern platform and DevOps engineering. This programme delivers rigorous, hands-on training across Linux systems administration, version control workflows, containerisation, CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, and enterprise observability.

Syllabus

  1. Module 1

Linux Systems Internals & Shell Automation

Linux file systems, permissions, processes, networking fundamentals, and advanced Bash scripting for automated administration.

  2. Module 2

    Version Control & Trunk-Based Workflows

Advanced Git workflows, merge strategies, trunk-based development, and repository governance for production engineering teams.

  3. Module 3

    Containerisation & Image Architecture

Docker container fundamentals, multi-stage builds, image layer optimization, container networking, and local development environments.

  4. Module 4

    Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD)

Designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines, automated testing gates, artifact packaging, GitHub Actions, and release strategies.

  5. Module 5

    Container Orchestration with Kubernetes

Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress controllers, and managing container workloads at scale.

  6. Module 6

    Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

Terraform state management, writing modular infrastructure code, cloud provider integration, and declarative provisioning.

  7. Module 7

    Enterprise Observability & SRE

Metrics aggregation with Prometheus, dashboards in Grafana, structured logging, SLA/SLO definition, and incident management.

  8. Module 8

    Production Capstone Project

Architect and deploy an end-to-end automated platform on live cloud infrastructure with automated CI/CD, Kubernetes clusters, and monitoring.
